happy valentimes day. this girl at socks' work actually thinks it is "valentimes" and not "valentine's" day. ho ho. so we've been saying nothing but...

i wrote my sociology exam last night, and the multiple choice section was pretty shitty, but i wrote a kick-ass essay. i met socks afterwards and decided i needed to reward myself for my efforts with some used cd shopping!

there was nothing perfect that leapt out of the shelves and bit me on the face, but i held about 5 cds in my hand before selecting a final 2. i was holding aimee mann's newest, sloan's newest, lamb, hayden...and i was also intrigued and tempted by several others, including a neal diamond double live disc, willie nelson's latest effort, and a couple of johnny cash cds. i also found a matador records compilation double disc that was only 9.99. i am the worst at making decisions, but i realized that my ten-discs-stamped-get-one-free card would be filled with the purchases anyway, so yay! three cds it was. i finally went with lamb, hayden, and the matador comp.

not very exciting, but hey.
