i was close to meeting another diarylander recently. funny how strangers can invade one's thoughts. i thought of her when i saw sarah slean open for the indigo girls, and i thought of this one when i thought that she sounded very hawksley-ish, being hawksley produced n'all. didn't she also sing back up on his first record?

k's choice also opened for the indigo girls. rrraaaarrr! ok, ok, i know we all scoff at their One Big Hit, "not an addict" (but hey, i'll bet you know all the words, right?) but DAMN! the singer, sarah, is HOTTT! hottt in that belgian blonde, and i ain't talkin' beer, way. lanky, tall, skinny. everything i'm not!

anyway, r. and i did another show in the big B - a fundraiser for the county's AIDS committee. it got very noisy and due to the stupidness of the club as a live venue, i couldn't hear myself during many instances of the set...kind of a problem, considering my guitar kept slipping out of tune. oh well. OH WELL.

i could complain my ass off about the things A-hole @ work has been doing, but there are too many to list.

oh, yes. if you never, ever, ever, get to see one of my performances with ricardo, reference hedwig and the angry inch - minus the whole sex change bit. us? bilgewater's? it's all looking very familiar...
