cure for angst is dictatorship

daydreaming of perfect essays and such apr 12 2002 - 1.28 pm

my last day of classes. i read about her last day of classes and got really jealous. she didn't seem half as stressed out as i do now. skank! (i call her "skank" out of pure affection, nothing but...)

i was up till about 4.30 this morning trying to "finish" my paper on women in the holocaust. this morning, before biking off to class (late) i decided to double-check the assignment sheet to see if the wording of the question/topic could help direct me a little better. OH. it's about JEWISH WOMEN. not just WOMEN. OH. well, um, yeah, i guess they HAVE been read out of the Holocaust, because lookie there, what did i just do?

damn.

so now i'm going back and justfying why i'm talking about nazi policies on women so damn much. "no really, it DOES apply to JEWISH women in particular. i swear!" gaaah. i think i've managed to fenagle my way around my huge huge error, but that doesn't take away from the fact that the paper is supposed to be a measly 3,000 words (12 pages) and i'm at 4,000+ and haven't said what i want to (i mean, SHOULD) say.

i'm hooked up to the mad computer here in the schools so un-bitchin' hugest computer access facility, and god bless internet streaming radio doohickeys. i know i've creamed over this aspect of technology earlier, at my brother's place in front of his spankin' new Compaq, but really. the difference this would make to my home life. good music, all the time! in the background! that is NOT the fucking horrible radio! imagine.

(stop fucking imagining and get back to work, k.)

ok, speaking of more pants problems, i nearly shit my pants when the dude asked to see my library card. you know, the ONLY way i would be able to print this stupid essay upon completion. i thought i didn't have it. but i do. the end.

ok. i'm going to get back to work. please. oh. got to.
