did you know that working, like, at a job, takes up ALL YOUR TIME??

well, most of it. other things that take up your time include:
-eating eggs charlotte, making sure hot sauce touches ALL the poached egg goodness, all the salmony goodness
-walking around a sweltering city
-looking at various shades of pink with the names "paris pink" or "tickled pink" or "brittany's kiss" to try and find the right one for those circles in your bathroom you will paint
-not painting the circles
-doing mounds of laundry on national holidays
-listening to your friend scream at his boyfriend and basically do the Break-Up Yell over your own phone line while you prepare herbal tea and antipasto
-deciding NOT to go anywhere for the rest of the summer, like thailand, or england, or japan - even though it's free
-sweating like a hog in the gym
-watching videos of yourself stare at the fretboard while playing guitar at a Pride concert
-finding iota's nailclippings three days later
-taking all your cds out of their hiding places, re-organizing them, adding new entries, listening to "incesticide" and remembering "shit! i remember playing this song way back when!"
-watching "blazing saddles" and "fast times at ridgemont high"
-having the waiter at the nextdoor eatery ask you if you want cheesecake, only because he knows you now and for some odd reason calls you "angel"
-watch your hair fade from red to pink/orange/bleah
