what am i doing up? i looked at my watch this morning, it was 6.51. i lay in bed, went to the bathroom, lay in bed some more. now it's 8.36.

as soon as i wake my head starts in on theses...the statements of intent for various projects and papers. no, that's not right - what's your focus? what are you using as primary sources? what are you trying to accomplish here?

if i stop thinking about it, my stomach roars at me, and threatens to squeeze and release digestive juices that will sear through the length of my intestines.

think, think, THINK. what exactly are you going to say to Prof. H today? are you sure that's the outfit you're wearing? you have to work at 10 - don't forget about that. are you going to work next week? remember to email your availability. or unavailability.

the sound, the sound of - am i concentrating on the sound of testimony, or the sounds IN testimony. the way survivors express their experiences through sound, both within their testimonies and the sound of their testimonies. is that good...WHAT ARE YOUR SOURCES. if i phrase the project this way then that main primary source i found is completely irrelevant. can i put "language" into the scope?
