sneaking an entry at the public library. only have a few minutes left. can't stand these weirdos peering over my shoulder...

oh well, the "inside workers" (city workers who aren't outdoors folks) are going on strike soon, to join the "outside workers" - mainly garbage collection folks. the streets are pretty ugly, and the fruit fly hordes in my apartment are getting just a leeeeetle bit annoying.

add to this some of the hottest days of the year? my town be steenky!

pride weekend came and went, and once again, i didn't get to do all the things and people i wanted. moment of significance would be the Evil Ex showing up at the friday night party-event at the bar where socks, myself, jakura, and Emom were partyin' - and socks exclaiming "damn, she's hot!" to my dismay, surprise, shock, horror...need i go on? i don't know if she noticed us. (and me, looking so much cooler and SO MUCH HOTTER, ms. droopy cargo pants!)

well, i must be off before i'm beaten with ancient card catalogues...
