can anyone say "beautiful day in the neighbourhood?" anyone? at all?

i sold my lovely little twin bed today (*sniff, sniff*) - the end of an era. a single person's era, i suppose. they didn't even haggle the price down or nuthin' - so i have a sweet $50 in my pocket, which should let me live over the next few weeks. i had the best luck in the world when i found a $20 bill on the road as i was biking to the library. it pays to be studious!

my mom was in town this weekend so i have been having a lot of free meals.

things are looking luvvly, for now.
